It combines the advantages of a "croquette" presentation (greater palatability) with a lack of harmful nutritional alterations typical of the extrusion process (vitamin thermodestruction, Maillard reaction, etc.). The texture of the croquette is such as to allow the recovery in the feeding vessel of most of the waste with a remarkable "antispreco" effect (the product does not have the vitreous structure typical of the extrudes that explodes under the action of the beak of the parrots).
