The Cocorita or Melopsittacus Undulatus is a small parrot belonging to the tribe of the wide-tailed parrots. Originally from Australia, it is the most bred parrot in the world, both for the ease and ductility of breeding, for the sociability and beauty of singing, as well as for the animal itself. It adapts to different environments and climates, resisting temperatures ranging from 4°C to 35°C, outside of this range the animal gradually enters extreme living conditions. It has a size between 15 and 20cm, the subspecies "Cobalto" does not reach 12,5cm and the "Wilson" reaches 22-24cm. The Perch breeds at most twice a year, at any time, preferably in spring.
The Cocorite Bisquits in addition to ensuring a balanced supply of grains of high organoleptic quality, complements them with heat-treated starches and characterized by a high digestibility (biscuits).
The daily administration of the food should correspond to the amount consumed on average in 24 hours, taking care to ensure before each administration to clean and wash the manger. This hygienic practice should be extended to the drinking trough, ensuring fresh and clean water always available.
The average life of the cockatiels is strongly influenced by the breeding conditions. The quality of the mixtures administered (ratio between the grains and health quality of the same), the integration with fruits and vegetables

The average life of the cockatiels is strongly influenced by the breeding conditions. The quality of the mixtures administered (ratio between the grains and health quality of the same), the integration with fresh fruits and vegetables, the size and density of the housing, the reproductive rhythm (which must not be too intense), can extend the life of these wavy ones up to and beyond 17 years, although most cockroaches live around 9-10 years.
