PHODOPUS ROBROVSKII
The roborovskii hamster is a small rodent from the desert areas of Asia.
It is a small hamster, reaches the 5/6 cm of length and the 30/40 g of weight.
It has a brown color on the back and a candid white on the belly and the tail.
Distribution: Mongolia, Russia and North China
Feeding: hamsters are omnivorous: in nature they eat both plant and animal foods. They prefer however the seeds (they are mainly granivores.) The ideal diet is represented by specific feed in pellets, and by mixtures of sugary grains.
